Behind the scenes at Ruby Lake National Wildlife Refuge

Over 220 species of birds visit Ruby Lake NWR, including 15 species of waterfowl, 18 species of waterbirds and eight species of shorebirds, who build their nests there. In addition, Ruby Lake is fed by over 200 springs.
