Shortly before the UN Climate Change Conference in Belém, Brazil, Federal Environment Minister Schneider claimed a Europe-wide leadership role in Germany.
"She should ask to make way for someone with energy and will and action on these issues - but that's probably asking too much..." Wrote former Foreign Minister Margot Wallström (S) about Climate Minister Romina Pourmokhtari's (L) choice not to go to Brazil for the climate summit, COP 30 - due to her pregnancy.
