Before a night at a floodlit abbey, an Italian restaurant left us all aglow

WE had late entry tickets for Fountains by Floodlight so before we got there, we needed to find a restaurant to light up our evening. The floodlit nights at the abbey run on weekends, storms permitting, throughout October. The Mill Yard beside the ruins has street food trucks selling smash burgers and sourdough toasties, but there are also queues, and as our entry time was 7.30pm with lights out at 9pm, we didn’t want to spend our limited time waiting.
