A bee venom allergy is an overreaction of the immune system to an allergen, which can result in a life-threatening condition called anaphylaxis. In the Republic of Moldova, there are no devices used internationally as first aid in case of anaphylactic shock after insect stings. At the same time, in the country we do not have any national public training program on the necessary conduct in case of bee and wasp stings, although deaths have been recorded, allergists warn.
