Beatrice “Bea” Abbott, a lifelong resident of the Tawas area, passed away peacefully at MyMichigan Hospital in Tawas City on Friday, July 31, 2026, age 91. Bea was born on May 15, 1935 in Tawas City to the late Wilford and Violet (Thornton) Clark. Growing up in the East Tawas area, Bea graduated with the class of 1953, which was the last class at the East Tawas High School.
