On the eve of Raksha Bandhan, traffic on major roads in Ghaziabad increased on Thursday evening. Long queues were seen on the Delhi-Meerut Expressway, while traffic slowed on NH-09 from Dasna to Mehrauli Cut. Traffic was also affected on Lalkuan, GT Road, Ambedkar Road, and Meerut Tiraha. In view of the increased traffic in Ghaziabad on the occasion of Rakshabandhan, the traffic police today issued a diversion plan. This arrangement will be in effect until 8 pm on August 28th.
