1 Man Injured in Police Officer-Involved Shooting in Surrey

- Police located the man near 111A Avenue and Wallace Drive shortly after 8 p.m.; an interaction resulted in a Conducted Energy Weapon deployment and shots being fired by police, the IIO said.
- The man sustained serious injuries and was transported to a local hospital for assessment and treatment. The IIO, which reviews police-related incidents resulting in serious injury, has commenced a formal investigation.
