B.C. to miss lofty 2030 emissions goal
- On Tuesday, British Columbia published its latest Climate Change Accountability Report for 2024, which evaluates emissions data and climate initiatives up to March 31, 2024.

- CleanBC programs supported growth in electric vehicles and heat pump installations, while major clean energy projects and a $36 billion BC Hydro investment aim to expand clean power infrastructure.
- Minister Adrian Dix said, "British Columbia has been a leader in demonstrating solutions" and pledged to continue strengthening efforts while ensuring affordable options.
