B.C. cancer survivor runs Vancouver Sun Run virtually to support Hope Air

Jennifer Keys, a lymphoma survivor from Terrace, B.C., completed the 10 km Vancouver Sun Run on April 27, 2025, as part of Hope Air’s team to help support the charity’s mission.
She ran to support Hope Air, the charity that covered most of her travel costs during frequent medical trips throughout her treatment since 2023.
Keys completed the 10 km run in her hometown neighborhood as part of Hope Air’s Jets Hope Air Force team and raised $300 through a jewelry auction.
Hope Air, a key charity partner of the 2025 Sun Run, has assisted Canadians with hundreds of thousands of travel arrangements since its founding in 1986, helping them reach medical care far from home.
Keys’ participation highlights the charity’s value, as many, especially in Northern B.C., cannot afford medical travel, and she expressed gratitude for their aid.
