The BBC have held the rights for Wimbledon since 1927, but the broadcaster could miss out when they come up for renewal after the 2027 tournament with TNT Sports and Sky Sports interested
A coalition of parents have written to Wimbledon bosses urging them to drop the tournament’s sponsorship deal with Range Rover.
They say it’s because of the danger that supersized SUVs can cause for children, pedestrians and cyclists. Range Rover was confirmed as an official partner of the Wimbledon championships in May last year, in a decade-long deal. We’ve contacted both the All England Club and Range Rover for comment.
