BBC Drops Dramatic First Reveal of Celebrity Traitors Series 2 with Fans Excited
The teaser introduces a cast of 21 celebrities and a format that can build a prize pot of up to £120,000, the BBC said.
On Thursday, the BBC released a teaser trailer for 'The Celebrity Traitors' series two, featuring 21 celebrities competing at Ardross Castle in the Scottish Highlands later this year.
Set in the Highlands, the game follows contestants who arrive as Faithfuls, with a select few secretly chosen as Traitors, completing challenges to build a prize pot of up to £120,000.
Host Claudia Winkleman leads the new series in a church-themed trailer spelling 'RIP VIP,' alongside cast members including Oscar-nominated Richard, Michael Sheen, Maya Jama, Miranda Hart, Rob Beckett, and Bella Ramsey.
Ed Havard, the BBC director of entertainment, promised heightened stakes, noting the series will feature 'tears' and 'paranoia that's off the scale,' while adding participants requested an all-star special.
The first series became the most-watched show on British TV in 2025 with a finale peak of 15.4 million viewers, and comedian Alan Carr previously won £87,500 for his chosen charity.
