Bayern Set for Arsenal Test without Red-Hot Olise
Harry Kane says Bayern must replace Olise’s production as the winger serves a suspension after a red card in the draw with Viking.
Bayern Munich hosts Arsenal in a Champions League fixture on Wednesday without in-form winger Michael Olise, who faces suspension due to a recent red card.
Olise received a red card during last week's 3-3 draw with Viking after throwing the ball at captain Zlatko Tripic in frustration, resulting in his first career dismissal.
Harry Kane acknowledged Bayern will miss Olise but called on teammates to step up, noting that Olise and Kane himself have carried much of the attacking responsibility this season.
Arsenal arrives in Munich in strong form, having won 10 of 11 games in all competitions while seeking redemption after last year's penalty loss to Paris Saint-Germain.
Kane described the matchup as a "special night," urging home fans to create an energetic atmosphere as Bayern test themselves against one of Europe's best teams.
Since the Robben/Ribéry era, FC Bayern has defined itself via its wings. In the match against FC Arsenal, the big question arises: Does the radical idea of the coach work without Michael Oise?
