Kane Blazes to 100 Bundesliga Goals in Record Time as Bayern Routs Union Berlin 7-0
On Friday, Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane became the fastest player in history to reach 100 Bundesliga goals, achieving the milestone in his 98th appearance during a match against Union Berlin.
Kane surpassed the previous record of 129 appearances, set by Cologne striker Dieter Müller in 1977. His feat also eclipses the 105-game records held by Cristiano Ronaldo at Real Madrid and Erling Haaland at Manchester City.
The 33-year-old secured the record by converting a 39th-minute penalty after Union defender Tom Rothe fouled Michael Olise. Jamal Musiala and Olise also scored in the first half, helping Bayern dominate at Allianz Arena.
Since joining Tottenham Hotspur in 2023, Kane has scored 151 goals in 154 appearances for Bayern. The England captain has helped the club secure back-to-back league titles across the last two seasons.
Kane is a top contender for the Ballon d'Or and remains England's all-time leading scorer with 70 international goals from this summer's World Cup. His record-breaking pace reinforces his status among Europe's elite strikers.
