Battle of the Books returns to promote literacy
CLOQUET — With team names such as the Out of This World Readers and the Dominating Donuts, students competed in the ninth annual Cloquet Battle of the Books Tuesday, May 19 at Cloquet High School. Students from Churchill and Washington elementary schools and Cloquet Middle School competed in the quiz bowl all about books. To prepare, students began reading last fall from a selection of 12 books provided by the Cloquet Educational Foundation. ]]>
