This Easter the people of Bexhill and Battle were treated to a moving performance of Stainer’s ‘Crucifixion’. On Good Friday evening the choir sang this wonderful, but poignant, work at St Stephen’s Church, Bexhill, then again on Saturday evening at St Mary’s Church, Battle.
