Vogt Earns All American Medals
Doane women’s track and field posted a fifth place finish at the NAIA Championships May 21-23, in Marion, IN. The Tigers finished with 33 points. British Columbia was the team champion with 105 points. Katie Vogt of Pierce, earned three All-American medals for the Tigers. Baryo earns First Team All-American status in the 3,000 meter steeplechase - Davenport University Athletics
PUEBLO, Colo. - Senior Ella Baryo (Grand Ledge, Mich.) represented Davenport extremely well at the NCAA DII Outdoor National Championship. Baryo was able to finish eighth in the 3,000 steeplechase (10:44.16) to earn one team point for the Panthers and become a First Team All-American in the process. Baryo joins Emma Schafer as the only two NCAA Outdoor All-Americans since the move to Division II.
