Raptors Win Low-Scoring Game 4 over Cavaliers to Level Series

Brandon Ingram scored late and Scottie Barnes added clutch free throws as Toronto overcame Cleveland’s fourth-quarter rally and matched the series at 2-2.

  • On Sunday, April 26, the Toronto Raptors defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers 93-89 at Scotiabank Arena, tying their first-round series at 2-2. Raptors forward Scottie Barnes and Raptors forward Brandon Ingram each scored 23 points.
  • Both teams struggled offensively throughout the matinee, with Toronto shooting just 32 per cent from the field and hitting only 3 for 27 from beyond the arc. After efficient shooting in Game 3, the Raptors were ice cold to start.
  • Barnes sank two free throws with 34.6 seconds remaining to give Toronto an 88-87 lead, then made two final foul shots with 3.8 seconds left to seal the victory. His clutch shooting decided the tight contest.
  • Cavaliers guard Donovan Mitchell scored 12 of his 20 points in the fourth quarter, while Cavaliers guard James Harden added 19 points and 18 assists. Cleveland could not overcome an 18-turnover performance despite the late rally.
  • Game 5 will be held on Wednesday, April 29, in Cleveland as the best-of-seven series shifts venues. The Cavaliers seek to regain control after losing back-to-back games in Toronto.
