Bareilly Man Lifted 50 Metres Into Air Survives; Recalls Terrifying Tale After Viral Video Scare
A viral video shows Nanhe Khan clinging to a wedding hall shed before strong winds lift him and hurl him into a field.
On Wednesday, a man identified as Nanhe Khan was swept into the air by fierce winds while clinging to a tin shed at a wedding venue in Bamiyana village, Uttar Pradesh.
This incident occurred amid a deadly weather system sweeping across Uttar Pradesh on Wednesday, which authorities reported killed at least 89 people and injured 53 others statewide.
Recalling the incident, Khan, who suffered multiple fractures including a broken arm, stated, "I was carried nearly 50 ft into the air before the storm weakened."
Although social media users initially doubted the footage, writer and comedian Varun Grover commented on the viral video, saying, "Amazing that he s able to talk."
Officials in Bareilly district confirmed four deaths and around 30 houses sustaining heavy damage between 8:30 a.m. and 11:30 p.m. on Wednesday due to the severe weather.
