The Attorney General's Office denied that Tan Kian had an Examination Report (BAP) regarding the flow of Rp. 40 billion to a number of prosecutors' officials.
In the police report circulating on social media, Tan Kian is said to have handed over Singapore dollars worth IDR 40 billion to four Attorney General's Office officials.
Febrie Adriansyah's attorney, Febri Diansyah, confirmed that investigators from the Attorney General's Office (AGO) did not question his client regarding the Rp40 billion (approximately US$3.5 million) allegedly received from businessman Tan Kian during his questioning on Tuesday (September 8, 2026). He also stated that his client was not questioned about the four AGO officials who allegedly received the money.
Febri emphasized that during the investigation, his client never received any funds from Tan Kian. Furthermore, investigators did not ask about any other names.
