Baltimore Ravens Quarterback Tyler Huntley Out for Season with Turf Toe
- On Wednesday, the Baltimore Ravens confirmed backup quarterback Tyler 'Snoop' Huntley will miss the remainder of the 2026 season with a turf toe injury, leaving rookie Joe Fagnano to start Thursday night's game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
- The team's quarterback depth issues began Sunday when starter Lamar Jackson suffered a thumb injury requiring surgery, compounded by Huntley's season-ending turf toe injury during the Ravens' 35-6 loss to the Buffalo Bills.
- In his NFL debut last Sunday, Fagnano, an undrafted rookie from UConn, completed 10-of-21 passes for 91 yards with one interception. The Ravens signed Kedon Slovis from the Green Bay Packers practice squad to bolster their roster depth.
- Fagnano becomes only the second undrafted rookie quarterback to start for the Ravens in their 32-year history, stepping into a role amid significant quarterback injuries across the team's depth chart.
- While Jackson remains sidelined for at least the next month following his thumb surgery, the Ravens face an immediate test Thursday against the Jacksonville Jaguars with a depleted quarterback roster.
