Bakery China 2026 Concludes Successfully, Advancing Global Integration and Innovation in the Bakery Industry
The exhibition showcased thousands of new products and debuted Chocolate China, while overseas buyers rose more than 60%, organizers said.
On May 23, the 28th edition of Bakery China 2026 concluded at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai, attracting nearly 400,000 professional visitors from 144 countries and regions.
Spanning over 330,000 square meters, the event brought together 2,267 brands from 79 countries, with international companies accounting for over 20% of participants including Germany, Italy, Japan, Switzerland, Denmark, the Netherlands, France, the U.S., and South Korea.
The event debuted Chocolate China, a dedicated exhibition spanning 30,000 square meters with over 150 global cocoa and chocolate enterprises, while the Bakery China Innovation Award recognized 136 products from 122 companies.
Zhang Jiukui, president of the China Association of Bakery & Confectionery Industry, said the platform will "continue empowering high-quality development of the bakery industry," highlighting automation and efficiency trends.
Organizers will launch the first Bakery ASEAN exhibition in Jakarta, Indonesia, from August 27 to 29, followed by the 11th Bakery China Autumn and 9th China Home Baking Show in October at Wuhan International Expo Center.
