PETALING JAYA: Malaysia may have thrashed Singapore 6-0, but the emphatic win at the Si Jalak Harupat Stadium in Bandung on Thursday (Oct 1) was not enough to earn them a place in the FIFA Asean Cup final.
Malaysia previously topped the table after leading Singapore 2-0 in the first half of the match at Si Jalak Harupat Stadium.
The Malaysian team secured a resounding 6-0 victory over Singapore in their final Group A match of the FIFA ASEAN Cup 2026, thus becoming the first team to qualify for the bronze medal match.
