New Heroes Rise in Latest 'Avatar: Seven Havens' Trailer
The animated sequel follows a young Earthbender who becomes the new Avatar and must protect the Seven Havens as civilization faces collapse.
On Thursday, Paramount+ released the official trailer for Avatar: Seven Havens, confirming the animated series will premiere on October 9 on the streaming platform.
Set around 225 years after The Legend of Korra, the series depicts a world shattered by a cataclysm where the Avatar is reviled as humanity's destroyer, not savior.
Co-Creators Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko designed protagonist Pavi as a "South Asian-inspired character," with the series releasing in batches of three episodes weekly through October 30.
Accompanied by long-lost twin sister Nisha and airbending mentor Jae, Pavi must uncover her mysterious origins while hunted by human and spirit enemies threatening the Seven Havens.
Paramount has already greenlit a 13-episode second season, with DiMartino and Konietzko describing the show as more mystery-focused than their previous Avatar series.
