The Stellantis automotive group, which decided to slow down on electric cars, announced on Friday 13 February the addition of diesel engines on about fifteen models in Europe. At the same time, the management of Stellantis France proposed an increase of "2.1 % of the wage bill, in a context of inflation to 0.7%".

Five rounds of negotiations and nine hours of debate to give birth late in the night, Thursday, February 12, of a final proposal: a budget to increase the wage bill by 2.1% for all categories of jobs was proposed by Stellantis management for the year 2026. Trade union organisations can see it as a victory, while inflation fell to 0.7% in December.
