Austin Smotherman and Seamus Power share the lead in the windy Bermuda Championship
Windy conditions left Austin Smotherman and Seamus Power tied at 16-under 197, with 12 players within four shots entering the final round.
On Saturday, Seamus Power and Austin Smotherman share the lead at 16-under 197 after the third round of the Butterfield Bermuda Championship at Port Royal in Southampton, Bermuda.
Severe wind at Port Royal forced challenging adjustments, with Power describing it as a 'different challenge' compared to wind at home due to elevated lies and upslopes.
Power shot a 4-under 67 with a 40-foot two-putt birdie, while Smotherman carded a 66 with a 10-foot par save in conservative play.
Twelve players remain within four shots of the co-leaders, with seven of the leading 10 outside the top 100 fighting to maintain full status in the FedEx Cup Fall.
More wind is forecast for Sunday, which Power believes will hinder trailing players chasing the leaders as players outside the top 100 battle for their full-season status.
