Austrian Airlines generated an adjusted EBIT of minus EUR 43 million in the first six months of this year and thus reduced the loss by 31% compared to the first half of 2024 despite difficult conditions. Today, the Management Board announced this in a press conference.
Austrian Airlines has flown in a minus (adjusted EBIT) of EUR -43 million in the first six months. This corresponds to an increase of 31% compared to the first half of 2024. Nevertheless, the result has fallen short of expectations, because production was significantly higher and in the previous year the collective bargaining conflict had had a negative impact on the result as a one-off effect, the airline shouts in a message.
Airline speaks of "dimmed performance" as a result of "difficult conditions".
