A knife attack on a basic military servant who met with his girlfriend at the Tichy ice cream parlour on Reumannplatz in Vienna-Favoriten will be heard at the regional court on Thursday. On March 17, 2024, the 21-year-old noticed how a girl was threatened by several young men. He wanted to help her — which he almost paid for with his life. A 20-year-old Syrian now has to answer for attempted murder before a jury.
