Athletics' Denzel Clarke Has Left Hamstring Strain that Will Sideline Him Until at Least July
Athletics outfielder Denzel Clarke suffered a significant left hamstring strain during a game and was returned from his rehab assignment with Triple-A Las Vegas.
An MRI confirmed Clarke has a high-grade left hamstring strain, and he will be sidelined at least through or until after the All-Star break before being re-evaluated.
Clarke had been on rehab for a right foot bone bruise prior to this injury and will continue his rehab in Sacramento.
This season, Clarke has played 22 games with a batting average of.170, no home runs, six RBIs, one double, and two stolen bases.
