LIMESTONE COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) - A man was killed in a crash on Wednesday morning that injured another man, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency. The crash happened around 7:30 a.m. Wednesday on Brownsferry Road in the area of Carter Road. State troopers said 61-year-old Gary D. Brown, of Athens, was killed when his vehicle hit another. LIMESTONE COUNTY, Ala. — A two-vehicle crash in Limestone County on Wednesday morning claimed the life of a 61-year-old Athens man, authorities said. According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, Gary D. Brown was fatally injured when the 2007 Ford Focus he was driving collided with a 2021 Toyota Corolla at about 7:34 a.m. The Corolla was driven by Joshua D. Odom, 25, of Anderson.
