According to reports, members of the youth organization of the left sang anti-Israeli songs at the Oktoberfest, so an FDP politician was slapped.
Because of a slap against FDP Group leader Jörg Hoffmann, the left loses its Oktoberfest table in the Council box. Mayor Dominik Krause calls the attack "fully unacceptable".
At the Oktoberfest, a dispute over the Middle East conflict ended with a handshake. For the Munich Left Group, the incident has consequences.
In the Schottenhamel tent on the Wiesn there was an eclectic event: several young people waved Palestine scarves and showed anti-Israeli symbols. An FDP politician was attacked.
