Serious injuries were sustained by a cyclist who was hit by a train while crossing the tracks in Strakonice on Monday afternoon. All components of the Integrated Rescue System intervened in the accident. The injured cyclist was transported to a hospital in České Budějovice by helicopter. Traffic on the railway in the direction Strakonice — Blatná was stopped. A replacement bus service was prepared for passengers.
