Police say at least 12 people were wounded, including two in critical condition, as investigators review video and seek suspects.
On Saturday, a shooting near The Old West End Festival in Toledo, Ohio, injured 12 people, prompting a large emergency response as gunfire sent crowds fleeing for safety.
Serving as the kickoff to the summer festival season, the festival is a two-day celebration in Toledo's historic district, featuring live music, food vendors, and home tours.
Police report that at least two individuals appeared to be firing weapons, while The Toledo Police Department stated, "Upon arrival, officers discovered multiple shooting victims."
Responding to the violence, Ohio Governor Mike DeWine said, "Summer festivals should be safe spaces for families to spend time together without fear of violence," as authorities search for the suspects.
