Asteroid Janusz, so far known as 565184, was named after a Polish Jesuit scientist
Among the new names, given in recent days to asteroids, is and Polish-sounding - Janusz. This is in honor of a Polish scientist, Jesuit Robert Janusz, working at the Vatican Astronomical Observatory. In total, several dozen small celestial bodies were “baptized” as part of the decision now announced.
