The man arrested after the violent aggression of the mayor of Villeneuve-de-Marc, in Isère, admitted to having beaten him with "crap" while denying that he wanted to kill him, said the prosecutor of Grenoble Etienne Manteaux, at a press conference this Sunday.
The mayor was attacked on Wednesday by a man who had been living for many years in the village of 1,200 inhabitants.
