- Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma confirmed direct train services between Guwahati and Dibrugarh can now resume, thanking Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw and NFR authorities for restoring the vital Upper Assam link.
- Long-Distance trains remain diverted via North Lakhimpur-Rangapara-North Rangiya for the time being, as floods continue damaging embankments, roads, and bridges across several districts in Assam.
