Asking for free dental care is like pulling teeth. But we still need to do it

ABS data show one-quarter of adults delayed dental care in 2024-25, while the Greens say bulk-billed treatment would cost $196 billion over a decade.

I’m far from the only one delaying treatment. Like my wisdom tooth, though, the cost of keeping dental care unaffordable will probably only grow.
