Stellantis considers selling idle Brampton plant: report
According to Canadian trade union Unifor, Stellantis is considering closing or selling its idle Brampton assembly plant. The union was informed by the auto manufacturer of its plans last week, but Unifor national president, Lana Payne, said they have yet to see a formal written notice of the closure, which is required. In fact, Stellantis is required to give at least one year's notice of a closure or sale.
