As neighbors cheer, police arrest naked man suspected in Fairfax Co. home break
Police say surveillance, drones and a veteran officer helped capture Sedrick Walker after a four-day burglary spree in which no property was stolen.
- On Monday, Fairfax County police arrested 21-year-old Sedrick Walker in Centreville, Virginia, ending a string of naked burglaries in the London Towne neighborhood.
- Investigators allege Walker committed at least five break-ins or attempted entries between early March and April 1, typically wearing only sneakers and a head covering; on three successful burglaries, he reportedly stole nothing.
- After spotting Walker on surveillance cameras, officers conducting a stakeout in the 14000 block of Gatwick Square used drones to track him back to his home, where detectives obtained a search warrant and took him into custody.
- Walker faces charges including burglary and indecent exposure, and resident Larilyn Andre said the community "erupted into cheers and applause" upon his arrest. He is held without bond.
