The Polish secret service has arrested a suspected agent from Belarus, who was arrested at the beginning of February, reported the Domestic Intelligence Service.
The Polish prosecutor's office announced that it had arrested a Belarusian citizen earlier this month, accused of spying in Poland, Germany and Lithuania. The suspect, who was detained by Polish intelligence in cooperation with German and Lithuanian intelligence, is alleged to have spied for Belarus between June 2024 and February 2026, foreign news agencies reported.
He is said to have spotted facilities that are important for the defence of Poland and NATO: a suspected agent from Belarus has been caught in Poland. The man is said to have been active in Germany as well.
