According to official sources, the woman appeared stabbing her partner after a previous attack by him, who allegedly broke a bottle in his face. The incident took place at a hotel on Avenida Luis Buñuel, at 04:50 hours, when the emergency services were alerted to a fight. Following the distress call, National Police and health personnel quickly moved to the place. Upon arrival, they confirmed that both members of the couple had visible injuries.
They were both evacuated to a hospital, he had two cuts on his leg and side, and she had minor injuries to her face.
