Armstrong city, chamber launch parking pilot project for IPE

The Armstrong Spallumcheen Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the City of Armstrong, is launching a pilot parking project for the 2025 Interior Provincial Exhibition, running from Aug. 27-31, to improve parking access for businesses and residents during the event.
No enforcement or ticketing will occur for approved signage during the pilot project, but unauthorized signs may be removed and ticketed.
The initiative aims to keep priority parking available for local customers, reduce congestion, and enhance the visitor experience, according to Marc Szarek, chamber president.
Chamber executive director Patti Noonan emphasized that Armstrong businesses are essential to the community's vitality.
