A brutal robbery in East Tyrol occupied the criminal police in the past few days. An Italian living in Lienz (26) was surprised by burglars in his home, attacked and threatened with a gun. A visitor was attacked by the perpetrators with a knife. One of the suspects could be caught the same evening – with the alleged accomplices the handcuffs were now also clicked.

Three men were reported to have attacked a 26-year-old in his home in Lienz at the beginning of September. The victim and a witness suffered some serious injuries. Two accused are in custody.
