Armed burglars used AirTag to track and abduct couple outside their home

Two armed burglars in Florida allegedly used an Apple AirTag to track a couple before ambushing and briefly abducting them at gunpoint outside their home, in what authorities described as “every family’s worst nightmare.” According to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, the suspects reportedly attached the tracking device to the underside of the couple’s SUV before following them home to Odessa on August 19.
