- According to his report, Arellano "took her to the ground" and "delivered one closed-fist strike to the left side of her face" to gain compliance, later activating his Taser laser.
- Demanding a full investigation, civil rights attorney Ben Crump is representing Hackett and calling for a review of Arellano's prior use-of-force records, while spokeswoman Cindy Murphy confirmed Arellano remains on duty.
