ASU Newport lands $7.7 million for Health Science Center

JONESBORO — Arkansas State University-Newport announced Thursday afternoon a $7.7 million federal appropriation to help fund construction of a new Health Science Center, a project officials say will address critical workforce shortages and expand educational opportunities in northeast Arkansas.
