Arkansas State, FBS newbie Missouri State set for inaugural Xbox Bowl
Arkansas State makes its third straight bowl appearance while Missouri State plays in its first, competing in the Xbox Bowl replacing the Bahamas Bowl.

- Dec. 18 at 8 p.m. Central, the matchup will be played at the Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas, a 12,000-seat indoor stadium at the Dallas Cowboys' practice facility.
- Arkansas State will extend its bowl streak by making its third consecutive appearance after finishing 6-6, while Missouri State Bears earned their first-ever bowl berth following a 7-5 season.
- Not to be confused with the Frisco Bowl slated for Dec. 23, the Xbox Bowl was unveiled as the Bahamas Bowl replacement at the Ford Center at The Star, Frisco, Texas.
