Arkansas Game and Fish Commission offers Christmas tree drop off sites

It's not too early to start thinking about what to do with your Christmas tree.

Arkansas Game and Fish Commission accepting Christmas trees for fish habitat at Bull Shoals, Norfork lakes

Residents in north Arkansas can give their used Christmas trees a second life by donating them to lakes and reservoirs to create fish habitat, the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission said. The trees provide shelter for small fish, a source of food for aquatic insects and algae, and cover for larger game fish such as bass and crappie.
