Acting U.S. Attorney Michael M. Simpson has announced the sentencing of Joe Lynn Beattie, a 53-year-old resident of Covington, Louisiana. Beattie was sentenced on April 29, 2025, by United States District Judge Jay C. Zainey to 63 months in prison, followed by three years of supervised release.
