It has been 50 years since the criminal trial against the terrorists of the first generation of the RAF began in Stammheim. Terror has shaped the lives of the victims' families to this day. By Holger Schmidt and Thomas Schneider.
"I say that the terrorists are as close to us as any other film," says author and director Niki Stein about the film "Stammheim – Zeit des Terrors." Fifty years after the start of the trial against the leadership of the RAF, the ARD documentary traces the events of that time.
