Arabic edition of Volume I of "China's Governance Under Xi Jinping's Leadership" launched in Cairo
The launch drew about 250 representatives and included a new think tank report on China-Arab cooperation, organizers said.
In Cairo, Egypt, Xinhua News Agency officials jointly unveiled the Arabic edition of "China's Governance Under Xi Jinping's Leadership" on Wednesday during a major regional conference.
The book's global debut occurred during the two-day Global South Media and Think Tank Forum Chinese-Arab Partnership Conference, which gathered about 250 representatives from around 110 media outlets and organizations.
Xinhua News Agency President Fu Hua joined former Egyptian Prime Minister Essam Sharaf, Chinese Ambassador to Egypt Liao Liqiang, and Union of News Agencies Director-General Muhammad bin Abd Rabbo Al-Yami to unveil the publication.
The agency also released a think tank report titled "Achievements, Opportunities, and Prospects of China-Arab Cooperation in the New Era" and a publication titled "Decoding the Buzzwords of the Global South."
Participants noted the Arabic edition provides an important reference for the Arab world to understand Xi's governance thoughts and aims to deepen mutual trust between China and Arab countries.
